MANDATORY PARENT MEETING
Parents of all casts members must attend the PARENT MEETING Thursday, August 25th at 7:00 pm, where you will receive important information critical to the success of your cast member and show. Enter a drawing for FREE show tickets when you sign up for a number of volunteer roles that evening!  Failure to attend this meeting will result in an absence that will count against the three absences allowed per child during the entire rehearsal period. 


REHEARSALS
Rehearsals for leads only will begin Monday, August 29th at EDMT. Rehearsals for the entire cast will begin on Tuesday, August 30th. Our regular rehearsal schedule will be Mondays (leads), Tuesdays (entire cast) and Thursdays (entire cast).  It is extremely important that you download a calendar from the website and mark any schedule conflicts and present them with registration forms on audition day. Please DO NOT  REGISTER if your schedule has more than 3 conflicts on NON-mandatory dates or ANY conflicts with mandatory rehearsals, tech week or performances.  NO absences are allowed during mandatory rehearsals, tech week or performance dates. Missing any of these important dates may result in being dropped from the show.

Mandatory rehearsals begin Monday, October 17th, and the show runs from October 28th through November 13th at Three Stages Performing Arts Center at Folsom Lake College.

PUBLICITY APPEARANCES
Cast members obtaining lead roles are expected to make themselves available for publicity events such as television appearances and newspaper interviews.

REFUND POLICY
NO refunds of tuition will be made once the cast list is posted on the EDMT website except in extenuating circumstances such as death in the family, or a medical injury, serious illness or surgery not known about prior to auditions.

Registered cast members will receive a full refund of tuition, minus a $40.00 processing fee if they remove themselves from the cast before or on the day of auditions. The parent participation deposit and raffle fee will be refunded in full.  Registered cast members will receive one-half refund of tuition, minus a $40.00 processing fee, plus their parent volunteer deposit, if they remove themselves after audition day but before the cast list is posted. NO refunds of tuition or parent volunteer deposits will be given to cast members removed from the cast by EDMT staff for behavioral reasons.

Note: Auditionees and their parents are aware that rehearsals are strenuous and require the cast member to have the ability to focus for 45-60 minutes at a time.
